Go for a round of golf
Home to the famous Celtic Manor course, this activity may sound expensive, however, if you look around you can get on the course for as little as £10- now that’s what I call a bargain! It’s simple, all you need to bring along with you are your golf clubs and plenty of waterproof clothing as the weather in the UK is ever so unpredictable. Always be prepared for the worst.
Ideas for eating out
Pay a visit to one of Wales’ larger cities, including the capital, Cardiff. There are many cheap restaurants on offer in these cities that provide some of the best cuisine in the UK. This activity is great if you are on a date or even visiting Wales as a happily married couple, it would definitely be a great night.
Museums
Wales is packed with history throughout the land, so what better to do than visit one of its many museums located all around the country. The most famous museum in Wales is the National Museum in Cardiff where you will have the chance to participate in exhibitions and many different events.
Landmarks
Landmarks in Wales include, Cardiff Castle, Cardiff Bay and the historic villages of Mumbles in Swansea. Seeing these fantastic landmarks can be done as a family, friends or even simply as a couple- it is ideal for all age groups, young and old.
Walk through the Beautiful Parks
As you know, walking doesn’t cost anything and walking in Wales is definitely a must-do activity when you are on your visit to Wales. Whether it’s walking in some of the National Parks like Brecon Beacons and Snowdonia or even walking in Cardiff park located in the city, walking is a great activity to do in Wales.

I wish that we had more money and time to travel as a family. I think I would just take my kids around the world and homeschool them while they are learning about other cultures. All these photos are stunning.
