The last time I went to Barasoian Church was in 1997 (I was in first year college). I went with my peers, one of my closest friend lives in Malolos so we paid her folks a visit and we went to see the Church as well. I remember having photos but I think those weren’t my copies…That’s why I was so glad to receive this postcard from MumWrites!
The Barasoian Church is an important landmark in the history of the Philippines. I’m not sure now but it used to be depicted at the back of our 10-peso bill. It has a particular significance to two Philippine presidents. Emilio Aguinaldo, first Philippine president used it as temporary residence. Along with him, Joseph Estrada was inaugurated as the 13th president at the Barasoain Church..
